ACMobility, the mobility solutions group of Ayala, has partnered with Shell Pilipinas Corporation to install new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at Shell service stations nationwide – a big step towards ACMobility’s goal of deploying over 2,500 charging points and strengthening the Philippine EV Spine, the country’s first nationwide EV charging backbone. The initial phase of the partnership will see the installation of more than 100 charging points at 50 Shell service stations across the country. The first 20 sites are scheduled for installation in the last quarter of 2025, with the remaining 30 to follow in 2026. Each station will be equipped with DC fast chargers with outputs ranging from 60 to 120kW. Once the stations are operational, EV owners will be able to locate, monitor, and pay for charging sessions using the Evro app. Evro, ACMobility’s e-mobility service provider, has also integrated Shell Recharge stations into its app, offering users a unified platform for accessing charging information and services. The partnership with Shell reinforces ACMobility’s aggressive nationwide rollout, which is gaining momentum in key cities across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao
