Ayala Corp. was ranked the top company in the Philippines for the third consecutive year in TIME and Statista’s World’s Best Companies list, the conglomerate said Thursday.
Ayala, one of the Philippines’ oldest and largest conglomerates, was recognized for high employee satisfaction, strong revenue growth and robust environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.
The company, which recorded its strongest year in 2024, ranked 210th globally, its highest position on the index. It placed 273rd in 2024 and 309th in 2023. Ten other Philippine companies also made the list.
The index includes companies that generated more than $100 million in revenues in 2023 or 2024 and recorded growth over the last three years.
“This recognition inspires us to be an even better Ayala as we journey to our 200th year,” Ayala president and chief executive Cezar Consing said in a statement.
“We share this with our employees and partners, whose hard work and support helped Ayala earn this honor,” said Consing.
Ayala has been the top Philippine company on the TIME World’s Best Companies list since its inception in 2023.
Earlier this year, Ayala and its core businesses – ACEN, Ayala Land Inc., BPI, and Globe – were included in the FTSE4Good Index Series, which affirms the group’s sound ESG practices.
The company was also recognized as one of the top 50 publicly listed companies in the ASEAN region and among the top five in the Philippines for excellence in corporate governance at the 2025 ASEAN Corporate Governance Conference and Awards.
