Several local government units have declared a suspension of classes on Friday, September 5, due to rains caused by the southwest monsoon or ‘habagat.’
As of 8:00 a.m., the following cities have sent students home amid the inclement weather conditions. All advisories apply to in-person classes in both public and private schools at all levels unless indicated otherwise:

- Hagonoy and Santa Maria – preschool to SHS may shift to online learning
- Malolos – preschool to secondary levels may shift to online or modular classes
