Will Ashley paid tribute to working students as he introduced his character, Arvin, in the newly released teaser for Bar Boys: After School.
On Monday, Sept. 1, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate reposted the teaser and wrote a message for working students who juggle their studies while working on the side.
“Sa lahat ng Arvin, malapit kayo sa puso ko. Madalas dehado ang mahihirap, ang mga manggagawa. Sobrang daming potential na talent and utak who could have been more if they had more,” he wrote.
The teaser, released exclusively on Sunday by Cinema Bravo, shows Arvin ranting about his daily routine to Rocco Nacino’s character as a working law student balancing his studies with employment. In the latter part of the teaser, he is called back to work by his boss Ziggy, portrayed by Emilio Daez.
Will and Emilio are among the new additions to the cast, which also includes Klarisse De Guzman, Sassa Gurl, Royce Cabrera, Bryce Eusebio, Therese Malvar, and Glaiza De Castro.
Aside from Rocco, the sequel to the 2017 film directed by Kip Oebanda also brings back Enzo Pineda, Carlo Aquino, and Kean Cipriano in their original roles.
