Alviera made history in Central Luzon golf with the launch of its first-ever Longest Drive Championship, an event that brought together top golfers from across the region and Manila. Organized in partnership with XMPLR through the Alviera Sports Program, the competition featured three men’s categories—Elite Drivers, Power Strokers, and Rising Slammers—and an open-play format for the women’s division.
The tournament was held at The Driving Range Alviera, the Philippine record-holder for range length at over 350 yards. Participants enjoyed a premium golfing experience with Trackman Simulator technology and complimentary Srixon club fitting, delivering on the event’s “Drive Your Passion” theme.
More than 40 competitors joined the opening edition, with standout performances across all divisions.
In the Elite Drivers category, reserved for golfers averaging 300 yards and above, BJ Cadayong claimed the top spot with an impressive 339-yard drive. Brent Sumampong followed with 319 yards, while Seo Hun Choi placed third at 311 yards.

The women’s division saw Larissa Cadayong take the championship title with a 258.5-yard drive. Silvana Peters finished second at 226 yards, and Anna Bunuan secured third with 163.5 yards.
In the Power Strokers category (250 to 299-yard average), Elian Barclay emerged as champion with a 312-yard drive, ahead of Luigi Mallari (292 yards) and Matthew Torres (277 yards).
The Rising Slammers division, for golfers below a 250-yard average, showcased William Rapoza as the winner with a stunning 307-yard drive. Tommy King and Arthur Salazar completed the podium with drives of 290 yards and 269.9 yards, respectively.
Girls Who Golf Manila was also recognized for its outstanding group performance, achieving a combined total of 634.5 yards.
