Sharon Cuneta is stepping away from social media to focus on rest and self-care.
In an Instagram post on Aug. 28, the 59-year-old actress and singer said she will be unreachable except to her family.
“I will be taking a rest from social media and my phone will be off… My mind and emotions are gonna take a vacation from everything extra!” she wrote, adding that she hopes to return after several days.
Cuneta previously took a month-long hiatus in 2023 while recovering from a hip problem. At the time, she admitted that social media had taken a toll on her well-being and that she regretted responding to negativity online.
Her latest announcement comes shortly after she shared the accomplishments of her daughters. KC Concepcion was recently welcomed back as a World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador, while Frankie Pangilinan was appointed chairperson of the Committee on Youth of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc.
The Megastar ended her post by assuring her supporters of her love and gratitude, promising to reconnect once she has recharged.
