Melai Cantiveros-Francisco revealed that her youngest daughter, Stela, was hospitalized in Mindoro while their family was on vacation.
In an Instagram post, the Magandang Buhay host said Stela developed a fever and was later diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, which led to their trip being cut short.
Cantiveros expressed relief that her daughter is now recovering, thanking the doctors and staff at Mindoro Med Hospital for their care.
The Kapamilya star also shared that her eldest daughter, Mela, experienced throat irritation while they were in the hospital.
True to her humor, Cantiveros joked about the situation, calling Stela the “UTI girl” and Mela the “Sore Throat Girl,” quipping that the family vacation turned into a “hospital staycation.”
Despite the ordeal, Cantiveros expressed gratitude to God and to the medical team for ensuring her children’s health.
She also posted photos and stories from their hospital stay, showing lighthearted bonding moments with her family.
