Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) paid P24.09 billion in duties and taxes in the first half of 2025, a 29-percent increase from P18.67 billion in the same period last year.

The milestone was announced at the BOC-POB’s 68th founding anniversary and partners’ thanksgiving on Aug. 20, 2025.

Collections at the BOC-POB reached P145.05 billion as of August 19, an 11.6-percent rise year-on-year, district collector Carmelita Talusan said.

Motor vehicles and fuel products remain the port’s primary revenue drivers.

TMP is an accredited authorized economic operator (AEO) level 2, which allows for faster customs clearance and priority processing.

The company also operates its Batangas Vehicle Center (BVC), located six kilometers from the port, to handle Toyota and Lexus units as well as production and service parts.
