The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said it will implement a new format for its monetary policy decision announcements starting Aug. 28, 2025.
Under the new format, the BSP will release the monetary policy stance statement on its official website and X account (formerly Twitter) by 2:30 p.m. This will be followed by a livestreamed press conference at 3 p.m., where the BSP governor will deliver remarks and take questions from the media.

The BSP said in its advisory that the changes are part of its efforts to “strengthen transparency and public appreciation” of its monetary policy actions.
