Philippine National Oil Company switches on a newly installed solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev) Region IV-A Office on Aug. 6, 2025, marking another milestone in the company’s Rooftop Solar for Government Buildings Project. This initiative helps government facilities harness renewable energy, reduce power costs and lower carbon emissions. It also supports the Department of Energy’s directive for the 100-percent installation of solar PV systems in all government buildings nationwide.
