Kaya FC-Iloilo team captain Hali Long has signed up for Thai Women’s League champion BGC–College of Asian Scholars.
Long, a member of the Philippine national women’s football team, will be on loan for the BGC squad in the preliminary stage of the 2025 AFC Women’s Champions League.
Long’s vast experience and leadership are expected to be assets to the Thai champions.
The 30-year-old recently scored her 22nd international goal for the Philippines at the MSIG Serenity Cup.
With Kaya FC, she was around when they won their second consecutive PFF Women’s League titles.
That title conquest with Kaya FC gave her an MVP award.
Long’s defensive presence will beef up CAS’ middle as they prepare for continental competition.
Stallion Laguna, winners of the 2024 PFF Women’s Cup, will represent the Philippines in the the 2025 AFC Women’s Champions League.
With Long’s leadership, Kaya FC-Iloilo represented the country in the inaugural edition of the competition in 2024.
Kaya FC-Iloilo, went on to make history by securing their first-ever points in Champions League football.
