Actress-singer Maris Racal revealed she recently underwent an appendectomy, updating her followers through a lighthearted post on Instagram.
“Congrats, it’s an appendix!” she captioned photos of herself in a hospital gown, adding that she is still on the road to recovery.

Racal expressed gratitude to her surgeon, medical team, and hospital staff for their care, and thanked her younger sister for staying by her side during her confinement.
Currently starring in Sunshine, directed by Antoinette Jadaone, Racal first rose to fame as a Pinoy Big Brother housemate before pursuing acting and music.
She reassured fans that she looks forward to returning to work once fully recovered, writing, “Rarampa muli.”
