Team Philippines advances to Super Round despite loss to Japan 

Team Philippines absorbed a 0-10 loss to Japan in their final Group B match of the Baseball Federation of Asia’s 12th Asian Under-15 Championship 2025 in Tainan, Taiwan.

The defeat denied the Filipinos a clean sweep of their bracket, but their 2-1 win-loss record was enough to secure a spot in the Super Round.

Japan, which swept its three assignments, also advanced to the Super Round on Thursday.

Up next for the Filipino batters is a showdown with host Chinese Taipei.

South Korea likewise secured a place in the Super Round.
