THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has launched the Subaybayani Awards 2025, a program that recognizes local government units (LGUs) demonstrating excellence in infrastructure governance and community impact.
The launch was held during the conduct of the Infrastructure Governance Blueprints at The Richmond Hotel in Quezon City on Tuesday.
Spearheaded by the DILG’s Office of Project Development Services, the awards celebrate service, resilience, and pioneering innovations, with emphasis on the Most Significant Change – real stories of transformation showing meaningful improvements in systems, relationships, and outcomes.
The event was highlighted by the unveiling of the icon Bayani, representing transparency and accountability in local infrastructure implementation, strengthened public service delivery and development outcomes, and participatory governance through citizen and private sector engagement.
