Heroes’ Walk honors animal lovers who help dogs and cats

In a world where compassion and kindness can sometimes seem like rare commodities, there are individuals who stand out as beacons of hope.They are the animal lovers, rescuers, and advocates who dedicate their lives to making a difference in the lives of animals.

On August 24, these unsung heroes will be celebrated at the Animal Lover Heroes Walk, an event that aims to recognize and appreciate their tireless efforts. The Heroes Walk is more than just an event, it is a chance for the community to come together and honor those who made a significant impact in the lives of animals.

From rescuers who risk their lives to save animals in distress, to veterinarians who dedicate their careers to caring for animals, to young pet owners who show remarkable empathy and compassion towards animals, to K9 handlers for their unwavering service, and advocates for the welfare of farmed animals, marine mammals and wildlife conservation, every hero will be recognized and celebrated on this day.

The Heroes Walk will take place at the Plaza Mexico, Binondo Intramuros Bridge, Pasig River Esplanade, Intramuros, Manila.The event will kick off at 6 a.m. Registration fee is P599 inclusive of pet bandana, walk cap, button pin, paws and compassion book, walk medals for both pets and pet owners. The event is open to everyone.

All proceeds will go towards the printing of the storybook “Derby, Ang Asong Iniwan ” which will be given out across the country, and to support the projects and rescued dogs and cats of Save Animals of Light and Love – SAVE ALL, a non-government organization that is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
