Attention Merrries! Momoland set for September comeback under new agency

K-pop girl group Momoland will make their return to the music scene on Sept. 8, marking their first comeback in more than three years.

The six-member act — Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy — will release new music under Inyeon Entertainment, which confirmed the news Tuesday. The group signed with the agency in May, sparking speculation about their return.

Their last release was Yummy Yummy Love, a collaboration with Dominican singer Natti Natasha in January 2022. In 2023, the group parted ways with former label MLD Entertainment.

Formed through the reality talent show Finding Momoland, the group debuted in 2016 with the EP Welcome to Momoland.

They achieved breakout success in 2018 with Bboom Bboom, which became a viral hit in the Philippines.

Momoland originally debuted with seven members, later expanding to nine before Taeha, Yeonwoo, and Daisy departed between 2019 and 2020.
