Converge ICT Solutions Inc. was named the Philippines’ top internet provider for the third consecutive year, sweeping all four major categories at the Ookla Speedtest Awards for the first half of 2025.
Converge was recognized for having the fastest fixed internet, with a Speed Score of 63.46. It also received awards for Best Video Experience (Video Score of 75.60), Best for Gaming (Game Score of 82.33), and Best Fixed Network (Speedtest Connectivity Score of 73.77).
Benjamin Azada, Converge executive vice president and chief operations officer, said the awards reflect the company’s commitment to its customers.
“This isn’t just our victory, it’s a shared one with every Converge subscriber who said yes to a better experience,” he said.
“Every investment, every kilometer of fiber, every system upgrade, we did it because we believe that access to best-in-class internet is essential to every Filipino home and our national progress,” said Azada.
John Paul Aguilar, Converge senior vice president and head of the consumer and SME business unit, said the company aims to become a technology company.
