BSP’s TDF yields mixed as tenders rise at auction

Yields on the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) term deposit facility (TDF) were mixed at Wednesday’s auction.

The BSP fully awarded the 14-day tenor, offering P50 billion which was oversubscribed with bids reaching P64.925 billion. The central bank accepted P38.846 billion in tenders for the seven-day tenor, below the P50 billion on offer.

The average yield for the seven-day tenor rose by 0.28 basis points (bps) to 5.2549 percent, while the 14-day yield fell by 1.08 bps to 5.2901 percent.

Total bids for both tenors reached P103.771 billion, up from P88.578 billion last week. The total offering was P100 billion.
