The Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations Inc. (FFCAAI) and Cardinal Santos Medical Center signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) renewing the medical discounts in a ceremony at the Skyline Conference Center of the hospital on July 17, 2025.
The event was attended by key members of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations Inc., including its president Golden David, honorary presidents Eluina Sim and Loraine Tan and vice presidents Ellen Mui Martines and Vhivian Wong Chan.
Cardinal Santos Medical Center was represented by its president and chief executive Raul Pagdanganan, dean Dr. Antonio Say, MD, senior vice president and chief financial officer Marivic Mabuti, assistant vice president and head of business planning and development Jake Solomon, assistant vice president and head of ancillary services Dr. Mys Tirol, director of financial operations Shiela Perez, head of patient experience Marilen Lagniton, and head of sales Julyeth Caladiao.
introduced the hospital’s history, team management and expertise in healthcare services.
David highlighted the significance of the renewed collaboration. “By combining resources, expertise, and networks, both parties are committed to enhancing healthcare services, promoting medical research, and engaging in community outreach programs to benefit countless individuals and families,” he said.
“The Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations, with its rich history and strong alumni network, plays a vital role in promoting educational excellence, cultural exchange, and community service. Through various initiatives and projects, the Federation remains committed to empowering its members and promoting social progress,” he said.
The renewed MOU provides medical and pharmaceutical discounts to FFCAAI members and its 27 alumni chapters across the Philippines.
The preferential program includes a 5-percent discount on inpatient room and board, a 10-percent discount on outpatient and inpatient laboratory tests, radiology services, and physical therapy and a 15-percent discount on other services.
