FinQuest Philippines has launched a new platform to connect small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with banks and financial institutions in the Philippines.

“Our mission is simple: to empower SMEs and business borrowers with faster access to financing, while helping formal financial institutions reduce origination costs and administrative burden,” said Jose Carmelo Nograles, founder and chief executive of FinQuest Philippines.
Nograles is the former president of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC).
The company highlighted several features designed to make the lending process more convenient for users.
For single application, SMEs submit one comprehensive loan application, which is distributed to FinQuest.ph’s network of partner banks and other financial institutions.
For faster decisions, the platform’s automated workflows reduce processing times, leading to quicker loan approvals.
It provides competitive terms. Business owners can easily compare rates and repayment schedules from various lenders before choosing the best option.
For lenders, the platform offers access to curated applicant profiles, reduced origination costs, and a pipeline of vetted leads.
FinQuest operates solely as a technological marketplace and does not engage in lending activities, as mandated by its registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The company’s cybersecurity measures are compliant with mandates from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), including anonymizing personal data until loan applications are finalized and deleting applicant data after acceptance.
