inDrive pushes for fleet Partnerships to boost ride-hailing in PH

Global mobility platform inDrive is advocating for a strategic shift in the Philippine ride-hailing market, encouraging partnerships with local fleet operators to address increasing passenger demand and empower drivers. During the Philippine Commercial Vehicle Show, inDrive Regional Director Mark Tolley explained that by teaming up with fleets, the company can utilize existing, underutilized vehicles and provide more livelihood opportunities for drivers who lack access to their own cars. This approach not only expands access to reliable transportation but also promotes sustainable growth by maximizing existing assets rather than solely adding new vehicles. InDrive’s model, which has been successful in other international markets like Mexico and Nepal, aims to create mutually beneficial schemes. These partnerships would provide fleets with access to inDrive’s platform and financial partners, while drivers would benefit from more affordable rental rates and higher earnings.
