Acclaimed Filipina actress Dolly de Leon is set to star in Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, a new dark comedy thriller from Apple TV+, according to a report by Deadline.
De Leon will play Detective Sofia Gonzalez in the 10-episode series, which centers on Paula (played by Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany), a recently divorced mom who finds herself entangled in a twisted world of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.
The series is created by David J. Rosen (What Just Happened) and directed by David Gordon Green (The Righteous Gemstones, Halloween trilogy). Production is currently underway in Europe.
This marks de Leon’s second Hollywood series after her role in Nine Perfect Strangers with Nicole Kidman.
De Leon gained global attention for her performance in Triangle of Sadness, which earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards and 2022 BAFTAs.
