Inchcape Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Changan vehicles, showcased two electric models, the Nevo Q05 and Hunter K50, which offer some of the longest EV ranges in their class. The company said this aims to eliminate range anxiety and reshape electric mobility in the country.
Changan, with over 160 years of automotive experience, draws on its global research and development network spanning China, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the USA to deliver innovation and advanced vehicle development.
Launched at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, the Nevo Q05 and Hunter K50 reflect Changan’s long-term commitment to sustainable, high-tech mobility for Filipino drivers.
The Changan Nevo Q05 has a pure electric range of 115 kilometers and a total range of 1,215 kilometers (NEDC), powered by an 18.4 kWh battery. The compact SUV offers four drive modes: PHEV, BEV, REV, and iEM. It also includes features such as park-in and park-out assist, a built-in dashcam, and a rain-sensing panoramic sunroof.
The Changan Nevo Hunter K50 is described as the world’s first range-extended electric pickup and the Philippines’ first 4WD electric pickup. It has a pure electric range of 131 kilometers and a total range of 1,031 kilometers (NEDC), powered by a 31.18 kWh battery. The top variant features a 2.0L turbocharged BlueCore range extender with dual electric motors.
Designed for versatility, the Hunter K50 has 10 selectable drive modes and three EV operation modes: PHEV, BEV, and iEM. It includes front and rear axle electronic differential locks, lateral stability control, an emergency brake warning system, automatic collision unlock and an automatic fuel cut-off in the event of impact.
