Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon have confirmed that they have officially ended their relationship, marking the close of a years-long on-and-off romance that began after their stint on “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2016.
On Friday, July 25, Elisse took to her Instagram account a series of photos of her, Mccoy, and their daughter, Felize.
“We both held on for as long as we could. But now, we’re learning to let go. Together, we’re releasing that dream. So we can finally allow a new kind of peace, growth, and healing to enter,” Elisse wrote, describing her relationship with McCoy as five “beautiful” years.
Despite the breakup, she emphasized that their relationship was genuine and centered on the shared love for their child.
“What we had was real. And it gave us the greatest gift… Our Felize,” she continued.
She also asked the public to refrain from speculation and to respect their decision.
“This wasn’t easy for either of us. We simply ask for kindness… as this story… may one day shape what our daughter believes about love, family, and letting go,” adde Elisse.
After meeting in PBB in 2016, they were romantically linked for years, confirmed a breakup in 2018, and reconciled by 2021.
