On Friday, July 18, Disney, in partnership with SM Cinema, launched the Fantastic Four-themed installation that has captivated Marvel fans.
Titled the “Future World’s Fair,” the mall activation runs until Thursday, July 24, and highlights a life-size replica of the Fantasticar—the signature vehicle of Marvel’s “Fantastic Four.”
Known for its mid-century futurist design, the display brings a classic comic book element to life, attracting fans and curious shoppers alike. Visitors are invited to pose with the Fantasticar for souvenir photos.
The event serves as a lead-up to the Philippine release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the 37th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the second reboot of the Fantastic Four film series. The installation offers Marvel fans a glimpse into the retro-futuristic aesthetic long associated with the franchise.
Located at the Mega Fashion Hall, the event includes a retail area with limited-edition Marvel products. Visitors can explore themed clothing, collectibles, and other “Fantastic Four”-themed items. Various interactive activities are also available, allowing guests to enjoy the exhibit, participate, and win prizes.
The “Future World’s Fair” draws heavily from the optimistic style of the Space Age, echoing the Fantastic Four’s 1960s comic book origins. The result is an immersive, stylized environment that blends nostalgia with a sleek, modern presentation.
The exhibit is open to the public, allowing local fans to see one of Marvel’s most famous teams up close.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps premiered on Wednesday, July 23, in theaters nationwide.
