Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition stars Mika Salamanca and Will Ashley rolled up their sleeves to help communities affected by Typhoon Crising.
The two were spotted preparing hot meals as volunteers at soup kitchens in Marikina and Quezon City under the Angat Buhay Foundation’s Angat Bayanihan initiative.
“Nag-volunteer po ako, wala pong maliit o malaki sa pagtulong,” Salamanca said in a video shared by Angat Buhay. “Minsan kahit time niyo lang po is very important… tulad ng pagvo-volunteer.”
Salamanca and her PBB duo partner Brent Manalo recently made history as the first winning pair of the Celebrity Collab edition—an ABS-CBN and GMA crossover—topping the competition with 33.03% of the combined votes.
Ashley, who placed second with partner Ralph de Leon, also joined the relief drive. Both expressed support for ongoing efforts to aid families still recovering from the storm.
Aside from her reality TV win, Salamanca teased an upcoming album with Star Music, following renewed interest in her viral song covers.
