CAAP reports more cancelled flights amid heavy rain

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced more flight disruptions as of 1 p.m. on Tuesday amid heavy rain brought about by the southwest monsoon (Habagat).

The CAAP said 30 flights were cancelled, while three flights were diverted.

•5J 745: Hanoi – Manila

•5J 747: Hanoi – Manila

•5J 901: Manila – Caticlan

•5J 902: Caticlan – Manila

•5J 565: Manila – Cebu

•5J 566: Cebu – Manila

•5J 323: Manila – Bicol

•5J 324: Bicol – Manila

•5J 391: Manila – Laguindingan

•5J 392: Laguindingan – Manila

•5J 455: Manila – Iloilo

•5J 456: Iloilo –  Manila

•5J 487: Manila – Bacolod

•5J 488: Bacolod – Manila

•5J 508: Manila – Tuguegarao

•5J 509: Tuguegarao – Manila

•5J 659: Manila – Tacloban

•5J 660: Tacloban – Manila

•5J 993: Manila – General Santos

The CAAP advised passengers to regularly check the status of their flights with their respective airlines.

CAAP said it continues to monitor the weather and coordinate with airlines and airport authorities to ensure the safe movement of air traffic.
