A POPULAR vlogger on Friday surrendered her driver’s license during a hearing of her case for reckless driving arising from a viral video of her while involved in unsafe driving in Cainta, Rizal.
Acting LTO chief Greg Pua Jr. said he was glad to know that the vlogger, identified as Cherry White, admitted her mistake, apologized and cooperated with the LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division in the conduct of the probe.
“We in the LTO appreciate the humility on the part of Ms Cherry White. As a popular social media personality, we hope that we would find an ally in her in promoting road safety,” Pua said.
Cherry White yesterday claimed she posted the video in her Instagram account around three months ago, and that the video that went viral was posted by another netizen.
