Nearly 100 motorcycle riders gathered in Antipolo City for a breakfast ride organized by VS1 and Mototek to celebrate World Motorcycle Day, joining thousands of others around the globe who marked the occasion.
Participants met at Parvil Shell Service Station as early as 6:30 a.m. before heading to Cafe Una through a scenic morning route. The event, held on June 21, was open to riders of all styles and affiliations, reflecting the brands’ aim to foster a broader sense of community among Filipino motorcyclists.
VS1 and Mototek, known for their motorcycle and car care products, offered free cleaning and maintenance services during the ride. Organizers also held a short program that included product demonstrations, raffle draws, and games. The gathering ended with the awarding of prizes to several attendees.
“This event was our way of giving back to the riding community,” said Shariz Ngo, product associate for VS1 and Mototek under Consumer Care Products Inc. (CCPI). “We recognize that motorcycles aren’t just a mode of transportation, but a lifestyle and a passion shared by many.”
To extend the event’s reach, the brands also ran promotions online through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok between June 15 and 21, offering limited-time discounts and giveaways.
Similar events were also held in Cebu and Davao on June 22.
VS1 and Mototek are local brands offering a range of maintenance products for motorcycles and cars, from beautification sprays to chain cleansers and oils.
