Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines (ICCP) has appointed Jesus Mariano Ocampo as its new president and chief operating officer effective July 1, 2025.
ICCP is a leading independent licensed investment house in the Philippines offering investment banking services, including raising capital in debt and equity markets and financial advisory services.
Ocampo replaced Valentino Bagatsing, who will stay in the bank as chairman and chief executive.
Ocampo, previously senior managing director for equity capital markets, will oversee the company’s strategic direction and operational management.
He has nearly four decades of experience in investment banking, facilitating over 35 public equity offerings, including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on offerings (FOOs), and secondary rights offerings (SROs).
His expertise in real estate investment trusts (REITs) and capital markets has made him a frequent speaker at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), as well as various media and professional forums.
In November 2023, the SEC recognized Ocampo as a private sector champion for his work in promoting the Philippine capital markets. He currently serves as vice president of the Investment Houses Association of the Philippines (IHAP).
Ocampo holds degrees in AB Economics and BS Commerce-Business Management from De La Salle University and an MBA from the University of the Philippines.
Guillermo Luchangco, chairman of the Executive Committee of ICCP, said, “Manny’s ascension to the role of president and chief operating officer stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment, strategic acumen, and profound contributions to ICCP’s sustained advancement.”
“I am confident that under his stewardship, the firm shall chart an even stronger path underpinned by our core values of quality, integrity, and ethics,” said Luchangco.
