Officials of the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev), the Department of Finance (DOF) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) meet with the country heads and teams of the World Bank (WB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on July 14, 2025 to engage in an in-depth discussion about the financing instruments offered by the two multilateral development institutions. DEPDev Secretary Arsenio Balisacan (center) cited the critical role of sustaining an active and strategic engagement between the Philippine government and the WB and the ADB towards advancing the country’s national development priorities.
