Streaming giant Netflix has released the official trailer for the second season, part one of the hit series “Wednesday.”
The trailer shows Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, experiencing a psychic vision foretelling the death of her best friend and roommate, Enid Sinclair, portrayed by Emma Myers.
“Enid dies, and it’s all my fault,” Wednesday said in the trailer.
“Secrets are the bedrock of the Addams family. The sooner I can get the answers, the sooner I can save Enid—or die trying,” she added.
The season introduces more family tension as her brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) enrolls at Nevermore Academy. Their parents, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzmán), also appear more frequently on campus.
Series co-creator Miles Millar shared in an interview that Wednesday must navigate complex relationships, particularly with Morticia and Enid.
