Combo on the Run, a documentary on Filipino rock band the Eraserheads, will screen at San Diego Comic‑Con 2025 this July, making history as the first Filipino-produced—and the first music—documentary officially featured at the convention.
Director-producer Diane Ventura and frontman Ely Buendia will host a panel in Exhibit Hall 6BCF, where they’ll discuss the film’s journey from the 2022 reunion concert Ang Huling El Bimbo to its global debut.

A limited-edition comic inspired by the documentary will also launch at the event.
Combo on the Run premiered in Philippine cinemas in March and originally had a limited run that was extended due to popular demand.
