The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) has elected Sarah McLeod as its first woman chair.
McLeod, a long-time vice chair of BCCP, is the managing director of Q2 HR Solutions Group of Companies. She replaced William Bailey as BCCP chairman.
“Congratulations to our Managing Director, Sarah McLeod, on her appointment as Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines – and for making history as the first-ever woman to lead the Chamber,” the company said in a social media post.
“From leading major forums to driving the Events Committee, Sarah has always been at the heart of the BritCham community. Her appointment opens an inspiring new chapter as she continues to connect, grow, and champion British-Filipino business partnerships,” Q2 HR Solutions said.
The BCCP, founded in 1997, is an independent, non-profit membership organization whose primary objective is to support the development of its members’ business and social interests in the British and Philippine communities.
