FFCCCII invited experts from both public and private energy sectors to share their insights and present viable solutions for reducing electricity expenses.

Among the distinguished speakers were Climate Change Commission commissioner Richard Bihasa, Aboitiz Power first vice president and head of retail James Yu, ACEN Corp. senior vice president for market transmission Tony Valdez, MGEN chief executive Emmanuel Rubio, GCL System Integration Technology Ltd. director of product development Cecilia Zhong and Huawei digital power smart photovoltaic development manager Timothy Sy.

Each speaker delivered a specialized presentation, introducing their organization’s products and services while encouraging attendees to explore more efficient, cost-effective energy options.

FFCCCII president Victor Lim expressed appreciation for the experts who generously shared their knowledge with the public.

He said the FFCCCII consistently encourages its members and the Filipino-Chinese community to embrace the future of energy innovation.

Lim said that whether for large corporations, small businesses or individual households, one of the most pressing challenges today is the continual rise in electricity costs.

Bihasa provided an in-depth explanation of Republic Act 9727, also known as the Climate Change Act, and Republic Act 10174, the People’s Survival Fund.

He explained how those legislative measures are designed to support the country’s response to climate change and fund initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and long-term energy resilience.

The FFCCCII reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable development and practical energy solutions for the benefit of the entire community.
