Actress Sharon Cuneta and husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan have reportedly withdrawn their cyber libel complaint against columnist Cristy Fermin, following a public apology from the latter.
In a post shared by seasoned entertainment journalist Ogie Diaz, a photo shows the couple together with Fermin after a reported court appearance on Tuesday, July 8. The complaint, filed in May 2024, cited Fermin’s alleged defamatory remarks, though specifics were not disclosed.
“Nakakatuwa.
On June 28, Fermin addressed the controversy on her online program “Showbiz Now Na!”, acknowledging that her words may have caused pain and offering a heartfelt apology
As of this writing, Cuneta, Pangilinan, and Fermin have not issued an official statement on the reconciliation.
