Around 300 fishermen from nine cities and provinces — including Quezon, Cavite, Bataan, Zambales, Batangas, Bulacan, Navotas, Las Piñas, and Parañaque — together with members of the NGO for Fisheries Reform (NFR), mass up in front of the Supreme Court to protest a resolution upholding a ruling by the Malabon Regional Trial Court that permits commercial fishing within the 15-kilometer municipal waters.
