The Department of Tourism (DOT) represented by Undersecretary Shahlimar Hofer Tamano (second from left) joins Philippine Airlines in celebrating the maiden flight of PR 585 from Manila to Da Nang, Vietnam on July 1, 2025 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1. The historic flight also marks the strengthened ties between the Philippines and Vietnam, as both nations celebrate their 10th anniversary of strategic partnership this year, and soon their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2026.
