Newlywed Diana Mackey and basketball star Kiefer Ravena have shared the heartbreaking news that they suffered a miscarriage weeks after announcing their first pregnancy.
Mackey revealed on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda earlier this week that she lost the pregnancy at seven weeks.
“Shortly after announcing it, I think a week after announcing it or two weeks, we lost the baby, unfortunately, at seven weeks,” Mackey said.
Notification of the pregnancy came in March, and the couple married on June 11 in Taguig.
Despite their loss, Ravena expressed hope. “God’s plan, God’s timing… the best thing is that she’s healthy. Hopefully, with God’s grace, we could try again.”
The couple, who made their relationship public in October 2024 and got engaged that same month, will celebrate a second wedding in Palawan this August.
