Will Ashley joins ‘Bar Boys: After School’ as struggling law student

Actor and “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Will Ashley has been announced as part of the cast of “Bar Boys: After School.”

Will is going to portray the roles of Arvin, a working student juggling the demands of law school and a day job while helping support an extended family alongside his overseas Filipino worker mother. According to the film’s creators, Arvin begins as a gifted and promising student but starts to fall behind due to financial hardship.

“He could have been more if he had more. Unfortunately, the world is not fair to those who don’t have the money,” the post read. 

Despite his struggles, Arvin remains determined to push forward and give his family a better future. Will  reportedly auditioned for the role just two weeks before entering the “PBB” house, where he eventually reached the final Big Four.

“Bar Boys: After School” is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2017 legal drama “Bar Boys,” which was directed by Kip Oebanda. The release date of the coming film has yet to be announced.
