Makati Mayor Abigail Binay granted permanent status to 1,695 qualified casual employees and promoted 914 regular workers in the local government unit (LGU).
She also approved the conversion of 698 job order (JO) personnel to casual status due to their commendable performance, along with the promotion of 704 qualified casual employees.
During her nine-year term, Binay introduced new incentives and benefits that significantly contribute to the well-being of city government employees.
“Competent and motivated workers are the backbone of efficient and quality public service,” Binay said.
“By providing job security and recognizing the valuable role of our employees in the city government, we inspire them to excel and better serve our constituents,” she added.
Previously, the Civil Service Commission National Capital Region (CSC NCR) awarded Makati a Certificate of Recognition for achieving Maturity Level 2 in recruitment, selection, and placement, as well as in rewards and recognition under its Human Resource Systems.
