Evro Launches App Feature Locating Nationwide EV Charging Stations

E-mobility service provider Evro has launched a new “Station Finder” feature within its mobile application, aiming to simplify electric vehicle (EV) charging for drivers nationwide. This new tool provides a unified map view of over 240 Department of Energy (DOE)-registered public charging stations across the country, directly addressing concerns about “range anxiety” and enhancing trip planning for EV users.

The Station Finder aggregates charging stations from various providers, including both Evro partners and non-partner locations. The app offers real-time data on station locations, availability, and ongoing charging sessions, giving drivers greater control and reducing wait times.

Key functionalities of the new feature include color-coded map pins to quickly identify station status: green for available Evro Partner Stations, red for busy Evro Partner Stations, and gray for incompatible, unavailable Evro Partner Stations, or non-partner stations. Users can utilize quick filters to locate available stations or apply “All Filters” for granular control, narrowing results by charger type, availability, and vehicle compatibility. The app also provides access to FAQs and helpful content regarding new features, payments, and account management. The Evro app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
