The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), led by its president Victor Lim, visited the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) in Quezon City and donated 200 care bags to young patients undergoing treatment.
Each bag contained essential and comfort items, including toothpaste, a notebook, pencil, toy ball, biscuits, milk powder, instant noodles, an umbrella, soap and a backpack.
The outreach was part of FFCCCII’s charity mission to provide psychological comfort and spiritual encouragement to pediatric patients, especially those battling cancer.
The organization aims to extend love and support from the wider community to children during their treatment journey.
Dr. Maria Norma Zamora and Dr. Bernice Jao of the PCMC Donation Committee received the donations on behalf of the hospital.
The young patients and their parents expressed gratitude for the gifts and support, saying the visit brought light and hope during a difficult time.
