VALORANT enters new era with Corrode — A French fortress-turned Radianite Salt Mine in Season 2025 // Act IV

Riot Games and VALORANT today revealed Corrode, the latest map dropping with Season 2025 // Act IV. Set in a climate-ravaged version of Omega Earth, Corrode transforms a historic French castle town into an industrial Radianite salt mining facility. Its unique design offers a striking contrast of medieval architecture and industrial equipment, and introduces a more controlled, tactical experience for players.

Corrode features:

  • 2 Spike Sites
  • 3-lane layout
  • Layered defenses and fall-back positions
  • Reduce overwhelming ability aggression in map design

Corrode will be available in the competitive pool immediately upon launch. During the first two weeks, players may lose 50% less RR for losses on Corrode, but still gain 100% RR for wins to help them get in and practice the map in a competitive setting without the fear of deranking. Additionally, Swiftplay will have a dedicated Corrode queue from the map’s launch on June 25

through to June 30.

This act also introduces the Phaseguard Collection, a skinline that embodies cutting-edge  technology and tactical precision. The collection includes the Vandal, Outlaw, Ghost, Bulldog, and a new melee skin — the Splitter. The new Battlepass will also feature items such as the 5 Years: Kill All Radiants Card, Bonsai Gun Buddy, ATLAS // CMD Vandal and more.

Season 2025 // Act IV goes live on June 25, with the Phaseguard Collection available starting June 26.
