GSIS to release June pension 2 days earlier

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) said Wednesday it will release its June 2025 pension on June 6, or two days earlier than the usual June 8 schedule.

The early release coincides with Eid’l Adha, which has been declared a regular nationwide holiday in the Philippines.

Despite the holiday, pensioners can withdraw their funds conveniently through ATMs using their UMID or eCard.

“This is part of our commitment to provide continuous ‘ginhawa’ [comfort/well-being] to our pensioners. Even on a holiday, they can access their pension easily through ATMs,” said GSIS [resident and general-manager Jose Arnulfo Veloso.
