BPI AIA, the strategic alliance between Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and AIA Philippines, launched InstaProtect, a digital insurance plan offering affordable financial protection to Filipinos.
The yearly renewable term plan, available online, offers pre-defined packages covering life insurance, critical illness, accident protection, or a combination of these benefits, the company said.
Premiums start at P488 annually.
“We are excited to offer another product that helps protect more Filipinos. We saw the success of PamilyaProtect, our first-of-its-kind affordable insurance made available via Messenger in 2022. Now, we have InstaProtect, a microinsurance that offers even greater value and provides more flexibility in terms of coverage and premium,” said Karen Custodia, chief executive of BPI AIA in a statement.
InstaProtect allows customers to apply for coverage through their phones.
