A high-value drug suspect and two accomplices were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Parañaque City Police.
The operation took place at 10:00 AM in Barangay San Antonio, where officers seized 55 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P374,000.
The arrested individuals were identified as alias “LORINA,” a 39-year-old female high-value individual (HVI) from Parañaque City, alias “RUEL,” a 30-year-old male, also from Parañaque, and alias “ANGELA,” a 30-year-old female from Las Piñas City. The operation was carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), led by PCPT Luis D. Gazzingan Jr., Assistant Chief PLT Aldrin Engracia, and Chief of Police PCOL Melvin R. Montante.
During the operation, operatives confiscated one heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), as well as seven additional sachets, cash, a blue pouch, and a mobile phone used in the drug transaction. The seized drugs were turned over to the PNP Southern Police District Forensic Unit for further analysis.
PBGen Manuel J. Abrugena, District Director of the Southern Police District, commended the operatives for their efforts in combating illegal drug operations. He stressed that each successful operation plays a crucial role in disrupting drug networks, safeguarding communities, and ensuring public safety.
