Manila Electric Company (Meralco) participates in the 2025 mock elections organized by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to ensure reliable and stable electricity service for the upcoming May 12 midterm polls. Shown are Meralco crews and personnel simulating quick response measures at the polling precinct in Makati High School to possible power service troubles that may emerge during the elections such as downed electricity lines, loadside trouble and fire-related outages For the upcoming elections, the distribution utility will deploy generator sets and flood lights in strategic areas to complement the readiness of Meralco crews and personnel who will be on standby 24/7 throughout the election process.
