Donation for PGH Healing Garden

The Association of Women Legislators Foundation, Inc. (AWLFI) remains committed to assisting women and children cancer patients at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) as Bulacan 4th District Rep. Linabelle Ruth Villarica, foundation president, on Monday led the turnover of cheque donation to hospital Director Gerardo Legaspi, MD for the development of the PGH Healing Garden which aims to provide a space for renewal for cancer patients, their families and health workers. The hospital is one of the beneficiaries of their recently held “PasmasCONG Handog Garage Sale for a Cause V” in Congress. Present during the ceremony were Reps. Lolita Javier, Maria Vanessa Aumentado, Marissa Magsino, Laarni Roque, Jane Castro and Anna Jimenez, chief of staff of Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez. Romualdez is the chairperson of the 86-strong women legislators foundation. Also present were PGH officials Dr. Esther Saguil and Dr. Maria Margarita Lat-Luna.
