The Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, or commonly known as the Manila Cathedral, lights up in red in observance of Red Wednesday which is a worldwide campaign to promote religious freedom and in solidarity with persecuted Christians everywhere.
